Is it first come, first served?

Nope. Water Wars is a curated market and cultural experience. We review every application carefully to maintain a balanced, intentional mix of vendors — prioritizing originality, vibe, product quality, and alignment with our community-first mission.

How are vendors selected?

We’re looking for more than just a great product — we want purpose-driven brands that align with the energy of the Water Wars community. We prioritize:

  • High-quality, original products (not mass reselling)
  • Clear branding and presentation
  • Cultural connection and creativity
  • Community-minded energy

We aim to avoid too much overlap within categories (i.e. food, skincare, apparel, etc.) to give all vendors the best shot at success. You must include either a website or Instagram showcasing your products to be considered.

When will I hear back?

If selected, you’ll receive an acceptance email by 07/01/2026. Water Wars does not send decline emails or application status updates. Please check your inbox and spam folders.⏰ If we don’t hear back from you within 72 hours, your spot may be offered to another vendor on our waitlist.

When do vendor applications open?

Each event has its own application window. The best way to stay updated is to:

Do I need a seller’s permit?

Yes. All accepted vendors must comply with Los Angeles County seller’s permit requirements. If your business qualifies, you must submit proof of your CA Seller’s Permit as part of the approval process. This is your responsibility. Water Wars is not liable for any failed inspections or permit issues.

Do I need a health or food permit?

If you’re vending food, drinks, or pre-packaged items, you must follow all LA County Health Department guidelines. If accepted, you’ll be required to submit a copy of your valid health permit or complete a Temporary Food Facility Application by the deadline we provide.

âť— Vendors who do not submit proper food permits on time may incur additional fees from the Health Department and risk losing their spot.

Do I need to bring my own setup (tent, tables, etc.)?

Yes. All vendors are fully responsible for bringing and managing their own setup. This includes:

  • 10×10 or 10×20 tent (with proper weights)
  • Tables and chairs
  • Fire extinguisher (mandatory for all food vendors)
  • Food truck or food trailer (if applicable)
  • Quiet generator and extension cords (if electricity is needed)

Water Wars does not provide equipment, power, or set-up assistance. Make sure your space is secure, safe, and self-sufficient.

Can I request power or water?

We do not provide access to running water or power at the event site. If your booth requires power, you’ll need to bring a quiet generator and extension cords. Water stations are available for hydration but not for vendor use.
